Where is my data stored?
Everything is stored only on your device. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
How do I move to a new device?
In Settings, use "Backup (JSON)" to export your data, then "Import (JSON)" on the new device. You can also recover from the automatic generational backups that are kept on your device every time you save.
What's the difference between CSV and JSON?
CSV is for invoicing and tax filing (it opens in spreadsheet apps). JSON is for restoring your data back into the app.
I forgot to stop the timer
Turn on "Notify after 12 hours" in Settings to get a reminder. Any record can be edited or deleted afterwards.
